Navigating the decision to involve a third party to conceive is not always a straightforward one. I have had the privilege of providing many donor recipient psychoeducadtional counseling sessions involving how to select a donor, donor identity release, DNA test concerns, when/how to talk to your donor conceived child, children who are genetically related to your child, how to talk to others about donor conception, grief and loss of genetics, and more.
I have provided many intended parent psychoeducational counseling sessions involving communication and relationship expectations with the gestational carrier and the future baby/child, legal concerns, embryo concerns (number to be transferred, selective reduction and termination concerns, extra embryo decisions), presence at prenatal appointments and birth, breastmilk agreements, hospital/birthing center plans, legal issues, and more.

EGG FREEZING
I work with those who:
- haven't found a partner yet, and are concerned about increasing age and decreasing fertility
- are in a relationship, but are not ready to have a baby right now.
- have been diagnosed with a medical condition and hope to have children in the future.
- are uncertain if they want to freeze eggs, freeze embryos using donor sperm, or both.
- have health insurance benefits that include egg freezing, and are unsure if it's worth it.
FERTILITY DECISION MAKING
Sometimes making the decision to pursue one treatment over another is unclear or challenging at best. I work with:
- single people considering parenting on their own
- same sex and queer couples - decisions regarding using donor sperm or donor egg, or both
- involuntary childlessness - decisions to continue pursuing treatment/adoption/fostering, or remaining childless
- adoption - decisions to continue pursuing treatment or move toward adoption
- third party reproduction - decisions to continue using your own eggs/sperm, or pursue using donor egg/sperm/embryo
- extra embryos - decisions regarding what do do with them
- managing career/working while trying to conceive or parenting
GRIEF AND LOSS (related to fertility)
Sometimes emotional well-being gets put on the back burner to focus on other things that seem more important. It can be very therapeutic to process:

- lack of euploid (chromosomal normal) embryos
- chemical pregnancies
- first and second trimester losses/miscarriages
- recurrent pregnancy loss
